Unwelcomed Grief

By Elly Jones

-

Heavy air surrounding heavy sorrow Flashing memories flood my mind A final breath

Grandpa in the corner,

An understood silence sweeps the room We are gripping for the familiar

The last of what we remember

Don’t forget her

She is with you

Don’t forget
