Scars

 By Katelyn Hicks

-

Since this isn’t real,

I wanted to see what I looked like.

I walked to the bathroom.

Looking in the mirror;

I saw it,

This isn’t me

But I know it is

My skin is cracking,

black lines covered my body.

pieces missing,

bones showing.

I’m bleeding.

But the thing I notice most is,

 the hole where my heart should be.
