What a Shame

 By Ryan Hallam

 -

An awkward silence follows a huge laugh,
What a shame.
Little boy drops his ice cream
Cone, it’s not polite to laugh. Thrown out at home base.
You’re so close but not close enough, some people care
Others might just hit you
with a blank stare.
What a shame.
